My husband and I picked up long time MA roots and are happily living in Paradise and whether you want to escape the winter and become a Snowbird, move here full time or just want to explore your options, let me be your Southwest Florida Ambassador! We love, love, love this area and enjoying exploring, whether it’s walking, using our e-bikes or hiking in the 33 state parks in Sarasota County alone. We are also foodies and enjoy exploring the wealth of great restaurant options here.

The key for us is that you can be as active and involved as you want to be – 12 months a year. Because we can be outside all year round there are so many events scheduled – from weekend art and craft festivals, to Saturday’s farmers markets to an incredible music scene, there really is something for everyone, no matter your age.

Michael and I bought a house in Venice, Florida SIGHT UNSEEN – yes, you read that right. We did not step foot into the house until we closed on it and subsequently moved in. Now I don’t advocate that for everybody, but with me as your REALTOR® and ambassador, it can happen. While you are up North, I will be happy to FaceTime Video chat with you while doing a walk through of the home, or send you videos of the home and my thoughts.

If you want to chat further about our crazy journey from MA to FL, let’s connect – especially if you are planning a visit down here – I’d love to meet you and work with you to find the best home options for your needs – now and in the future.

Just fill out the info below and I’ll be in touch ASAP.

Sarasota is a city south of Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast that was once the winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Today, it hosts a number of cultural institutes, notably the Ringling Museum of Art, which showcases old masters and modern art. It’s also the gateway to miles of beaches with fine sand and shallow waters, such as Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach.

Venice is a city on Florida's Gulf Coast. It's known for Venice Beach, with its offshore coral reef, and Caspersen Beach, where shark teeth are often found. Multi-use trails hug the Intracoastal Waterway in Venetian Waterway Park. Other green spaces include Centennial Park, with its interactive fountain, and the Monty Andrews Arboretum at West Blalock Park.

North Port is a rapidly growing municipality (circa 2005) containing very large-scale residential subdivisions along with an extensive network of streets. The municipality has annexed nearby locales including the area known as Warm Mineral Springs, the location of a notable artesian spring as well as its own significant residential subdivision.
